About TMP

The Transition Math Project (TMP) is a collaborative project bringing together educators from K-12 schools, community and technical colleges, and baccalaureate institutions to help all students prepare and be ready for post-secondary, college-level math – both the fundamental and sophisticated skills needed for academic and career success in the 21st Century.

TMP has accomplished several goals to meet the challenge of college readiness in math, including defining college ready process and content standards.   The history of TMP and phase I and phase II pages explain the project’s purpose and progress to date, and the results page highlights many of TMP’s accomplishments.
