2004 - 2005

System-wide dissemination, review, and revision occurred during the Fall and Winter (2004-2005). An emphasis was placed on ensuring the new College Readiness Standards align with and complement K-12 Math Standards to be developed by the Office of Superintendent of Public Instruction.

Spring / Summer
2005

In the Spring of 2005, the Project's emphasis shifted to the development of more extensive outreach strategies supporting and reinforcing the College Readiness Standards. Project staff promoted and identified practices from around Washington state that effectively use the standards. The goal then and now is to support the development of high-quality curricular and assessment materials and professional development opportunities aligned with the standards.

2005 - 2006

Evaluation of practices and projects that incorporate the standards was a focus at this time. This time period centered on identifying and promoting promising practices related to the standards. Targeted funding opportunities were sought in order to continue the critical process of encouraging and enabling teachers in their efforts to increase student achievement in math.
