The discipline of mathematics has received a great deal of attention in the news.  In today’s world, math is the shared language of a global economy.  Our students must be successful in math to be professionally and personally equipped for the future.

TMP staff analyzes math news and issues, ensuring our work continue to connect pedagogical challenges, trends and changes to the goals of our project.  To this end, TMP produces:

  • A  semi-annual newsletter with project progress and local partnership highlights; and
  • A compilation of current “math in the news” articles and publications related to TMP.

 

Because news is time sensitive, we want to provide you with the most up-to-date information on these pages.  We inventory all newsletters and postings older than six months in our archive.
