Transition Mathematics Project

Who:
Mixed teams of full-time and/or part-time college math faculty and administrators who have applied for the Pre-College Math Program grant, plan to apply for the Pre-College grant, or for individuals and teams who, while not applying for the Pre-College grant, wish to enhance their skills and gain new resources.  

Last Date to submit requests for attendance at the Winter Retreat is January 2, 2010. Send your request by email to: jhouse@highline.edu

ATTENDANCE IS LIMITED, SO ACT NOW and include the following information in your request:

1. Leader's name, email address, phone number and institute/organization
2. Name, email address, and institute/organization of each prospective attendee in your group (Teams will typically include 5 - 8 members)
3. Which of your attendees will be spending the night at Cedarbrook

Where:
Cedarbrook Lodge,
SeaTac, WA

When:
January 28 - 29, 2010

Start Time:

12:00 noon event check-in, January 28 (Check-in to your room is from 4PM). Lunch on the 28th is on your own before you arrive. Dinner will be served at 5PM.

End Time:
2:30PM, January 29 (check-out of your rooms by 11AM, breakfast will be served in the morning and lunch at noon)

Registration:
Once you and your team are confirmed to attend the 2010 Winter Retreat, your lodging will be pre-arranged by project staff. TMP will cover site costs (excluding incidental expenses that you may incur) and travel expenses (using state per diem guidelines).

PLEASE NOTE: The cuisine at Cedarbrook should allow for many dietary choices and restrictions. If you feel that your needs are exceptionally unique, please advise us and we will work with the chef to meet those needs.

Should you need complimentary shuttle transportation to/from SeaTac Airport please call 206.901.9268 to make a reservation.  The Cedarbrook shuttle picks up at Island 3.
