Green River Community College
The GRCC poster uses a ‘flood of ideas’ theme to convey the many areas and aspects under review and consideration there. For placement, they note Compass, their high school transcript review process and a WAMAP entrance exam as being part of their discussion and review. Under Skill Building Workshops, they note fractions, factoring and graphing calculators as being focal points. They further note Alternative Scheduling and Modulization as areas being seriously discussed and considered. And finally, they note their TMP effort Project TIME and their MATH 062J, Jump Start into Review of Arithmetic Course as two additional resources to leverage and connect to their Pre-College Math planning process.
