  1. Complete optional pre-planning activities:
    • Complete the team assessment and planning assignment (Word doc. available by request)
    • Schedule a site visit with PCM program partner, the Washington Center (contact John House at jhouse@highline.edu for more information)
    • Attend a bidder’s conference between January 11-22, 2010 via ITV and Elluminate (specific schedule to be announced)
    • Plan to attend a January 28-29, 2010 PCM planning retreat where team’s can continue to learn about possible approaches to improving pre-college math and – for PCM grant applicants – refine grant proposal plans. (location information forthcoming. Open to all Washington state college math departments).
  2. Schedule to meet with program staff to review your application proposal and present core project plans and goals (optional)
  3. Beginning January 4, 2010, obtain access to the Online Grant Management System (OGMS) from the SBCTC to complete an online grant application and budget
  4. February 15, 2010, grant applications due through OGMS. Notifications of awards begins on March 19, 2010
  5. March 22-April 2, 2010, new grantees review and sign the Memo of Understanding, and finalize workplans and budgets
