Spokane Area Curriculum Collaboration (SACC)

The Spokane Area Curriculum Collaboration (SACC) includes Eastern Washington University, Spokane Falls Community College, Spokane Community College and the Spokane area school districts. They will use this three-year grant to establish and maintain a strong community of math educators, holding forums to discuss and invite outside ideas and adapting the College Readiness Standards to their local/regional needs. An outcome of their work will be the development and maintenance of a common core set of math objectives based on the College Readiness Standards. This set of objectives will be updated annually, made available to local institutions (high school and postsecondary) and used to compare and analyze college preparatory math curricula and objectives.
