SW Washington - Transitions in Math Education (SW-TIME)

A Transition Math Project Phase II Partnership:

The Southwest Washington Transitions in mathematics education (SW-TIME) is a dynamic partnership spanning all levels of K12 education and two-year and four-year institutions.

  • SW-TIME addresses transition as early as the elementary years in order to remedy issues that can impact course-taking and achievement in later years;
  • SW-TIME aligns the College Readiness Standards with existing classes and senior bridge courses;
  • SW-TIME advocates “Algebra for All” with K12 teachers and community stakeholders;
  • SW-TIME disseminates regionally products of other TMP projects, making adaptations to meet local needs.
