Transition Mathematics Project

A Transition Math Project Phase II Partnership:

The Whatcom Math Project (WMP) is a regional learning community comprised of seven school districts working with local community/technical colleges and Western Washington University.

• WMP fosters teacher-centered professional development to strengthen standards-based instruction and assessment;
• WMP collects data on mathematics curricula, instruction, and student course-taking trends ; and
• WMP develops and disseminates outreach materials and messages about the need for rigorous math course taking in high school.
