Suggested Pre-Event Prep:
Teams should plan to share (exhibit, demonstrate, explain) something essential about their RPM work in a summary or visual style. Click on the Guidelines document to give you further information.

NOTE #1: Each team has been provided with one or more copies of "Classroom Assessment Techniques", by Angelo and Cross. You are requested to bring these resource books with you to facilitate a discussion relating to their content.

NOTE #2: Attendees are asked to prepare for the work that will be done at the event by doing the pre-reading assignments and completing the work requested on the RPM WikiSpace RPM Wiki Space

When:
August 23 - 26, 2010

Start Time:
1:00 PM, August 23(Check-in to your room is from 3PM on and time will be given after the opening session for this) Dinner will be served after 6 PM.

NOTE: Lunch is not provided before the beginning of the event on August 23rd. It is suggested that you make your own arrangements to eat prior to your arrival at Sleeping Lady.

End Time:
1:00 PM, August 26 (check-out of your rooms by 11AM, lunch at noon)

Registration:
Once you and your team are confirmed to attend the 2010 Summer Math Institute, your lodging will be pre-arranged by project staff. TMP will cover site costs (excluding incidental expenses that you may incur) and travel expenses.Travel reimbursments will be given at state per diem/mileage allowances.

buildingPLEASE NOTE: The unique conferencing environment at the Sleeping Lady includes room-sharing. In assigning rooms, it is our intent to keep the specific Project teammates together in their own guest cottage clusters. If you desire a specifice room mate, you must advise us NO LATER THAN 2 WEEKS IN ADVANCE OF THE EVENT or your request will not be able to be honored.

Please advise us if an individual's name makes it difficult to discern whether male or female so that embarrassing situations can be avoided. We regret that we are unable to accomodate spouses or other traveling companions not attending the event as a participant.

The award-winning cuisine at Sleeping Lady is organic and allows for many dietary choices and restrictions. If you feel that your needs are exceptionally unique, please advise us and we will work with the chef to meet those needs.
