Who:
TMP local teams will gather to review, discuss and create action plans around any or all of the following topics:

  • The role of the College Readiness Standards in light of the new State Standards;
  • Adding to TMP’s repository of rich tasks and examples;
  • Planning for TMP Phase III;
  • And other special topics as identified

Teams will have plenty of time to meet around local needs while joining in plenary sessions to share their work and ideas. And special guest, Kay Merseth, Director, Teacher Education Program, Harvard University, will facilitate a session on her model professional development approach to examining classroom practice and assessing student thinking.

Your lodging will be pre-arranged by TMP staff.

PLEASE NOTE: The unique conferencing environment at the Rainbow Lodge includes room-sharing. Accommodations are comfortable but modest.

Please advise us if an individual's name makes it difficult to discern whether male or female so that embarrassing situations can be avoided.

The cuisine at Rainbow Lodge allows for many dietary choices and restrictions. If you feel that your needs are exceptionally unique, please advise us and we will work with the chef to meet those needs.

  • You are asked to bring your own towels and personal items. Bedding is provided.
  • Smoking is not permitted anywhere in the Lodge. Outside covered areas are provided.
  • No pets please.
