The Transition Math Project, its local partnerships, and its partnering organizations and agencies have created many useful tools for educators.  Under this web section, you will find:

  • Agile Mind – a web-based platform for educators to develop contextually rich math curricula and instructional materials
  • Math Lab – a section featuring resources, tips and ideas for parents and students to meet college-ready math expectations
  • Marketing Toolkit – compiled outreach materials TMP partners and educators can use to present the importance of readiness to a variety of audiences
  • Topic Index – information related to implementing standards-based mathematics from a variety of state, national and international resources
  • Links to Math Organizations and Initiatives – a library of mathematics resources and advocacy from local/regional, statewide and national organizations
  • TMP-Sponsored Online Sessions - an ongoing committment by the TMP to bring you online presentations and accompanying materials from national and international expertise for use in your professional development efforts.
  • TMP-Sponsored Podcasts - audio clips of national resource experts being made available to TMP local project teachers and faculty, discussing seminal and emerging ideas in the areas of curriculum, assessment and instruction.
Funded by the Washington state Legislature and the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation, TMP represents a unique public-private partnership managed by the State Board for Community and Technical Colleges, Higher Education Coordinating Board, Office of Superintendent of Public Instruction, and the Council of Presidents. The highly collaborative approach being taken by the Transition Mathematics Project is part of an effort by the higher education community, K-12 schools and employers to create a seamless system that will benefit all Washington students.
